Draft order:
1 PrezdeJohnson09 2 nefan 3 thetek 4 jacketfan2002 5 crik718 6 JoeyC3402 7 HockeyFanMan 8 DIIIWatcher 9 LoudHorns31 10 jabber811 11 CROSBYNU63 12 UCBadger 13 Raidinner 14 gknight 15 gameday6 16 turntheradioff 17 PSUChamps2001 18 MuleCat 19 falconfan 20 [OPEN]
The draft may begin at any time until we get to pick #20. If we're at pick #20 before the draft clock starts, then we have to wait in case another team is going to sign up.
Again, the draft clock is THREE HOURS and will run from 8:00AM EDT to 6:00PM EDT. In other words, each team has three hours from the time of the last pick to make his/her pick - if he/she fails to make the next pick within those three hours, then that pick is skipped and the draft will go on. The pick can be made up at any time, but the subsequent picks will stand.
It will be a snaking draft. 1 pick per round for rounds 1-5, and 2 picks per round for rounds 6-10. 15 players total on a roster.
The categories will be:
G A PIM PPG GWG
Wins GAA SV%
This will be a straight roto league. 15-man rosters. 6 forwards, 4 D, and 2 goalies will be used each week. Positions are determined by the position listed on the team's USCHO roster for returning players, or the position listed on the collegehockeyrecruits.com list.
Lineups will be due on Monday of each week at midnight (so we can get those pesky Tuesday / Wednesday games in). If you're late turning in a lineup, your lineup from the previous week will be used.
Any questions, please ask here.

That is correct - one team per player.

Please note that the board appears to be on Eastern Standard Time..(or CDT) So...If you see that the last post was at 1:30, and you post at 4:30 EDT, the time is actually 3:30 EST.
(note..this post was made about 9:55 est.)

Commish Are we going to run this as a keeper league, we automatically drop our seniors at seasons end, you could also allow other players to be dropped even if they had eligiblity left, then next fall the draft is shorter because teams may only have 5 positions to fill. Some teams will need to pick plenty of players and others very few. Obviously I would be in favour of this. Do we need to set a minimum number of players you have to protect? Say 1/2 of your eligilble roster as a minimum.

I wasn't thinking of a keeper, but we could do this as a full keeper league. You lose your seniors at the end of the year, and you keep everyone else. Maybe have a 5 round draft next year or something.
I think for now we should stick to the "full turnover" philosophy. If it ends up being a keeper league (who knows if this will even be successful for this season?), then so be it.

Joey, I have an idea about goalies..... with most teams using multiple goalies on a weekend, do you think it would be a good idea for us to instead of picking a specific goalie and him not playing that we should pick a "teams" goalie and play that team of goalies? I know Norwich and Plattsburgh for example use multiple goalies each weekend. I think that if we do go with a "teams" goalies that if the starter gets pulled then you should only get to use his stats for the night. just an idea that I think would help make everyones lives alot easier when it comes to choosing a roster because unlike the NHL, we never know who's gonna be the starter for a team till they take the ice, then it's to late to make changes.
